Lokarpana of sacred 18 steps on 11.05.2026, Monday

Ubrangala temple is going to witness a historic occasion on this May 11th, Monday, 2026. 

On this day, the sacred 18 steps 🪜 are going to be dedicated to the Gods, in all its glory, with covered bronze metal plates, bejewelled with ornate decoration. 

The serene occasion will be blessed by the presence of his Holiness Shri Shri Shri Sachidananda Bharathi Swamiji of Shri Edneer Mahasamthanam. The ceremonies will be performed by Kshethracharya Brahmashri Delampady Ganesh Tantry, in the august presence of Brahmashri Kuntar Ravish Tantry. 

Shri Narayana Varma of Pandalam Kottara, Shabarimala will grace the occasion. The other dignitaries on the occasion will be Shri Nagandra Bharadwaj, Kshetra astrologer, Smt Talippady Jahnavi Shastry - the principal donor for the step`s bronze plate covering.

At 5 PM - program will begin with Dharmic Sabha. At 6.30 PM - 18 step`s Dwara Pooja will be performed.

At 8 PM - Kshetra Utsavam will happen.

The ceremonies will take place with the glitter of accompaniment of 101 Chende Vadyam (drums).

Bhojana prasadam will be served to all devotees.
